Heather Hafner


My favorite part of my job is meeting new clients, learning about their mission and digging into how Salesforce can support their organization’s objectives.  Twenty-five years in IT has shown me that the right technical solution can play a transformational role in an organization. There is nothing more rewarding than identifying that solution and seeing it unfold as the project progresses.  I have found this to be especially true for nonprofits and educational institutions given the unique challenges of the industry.  

What’s something you like about the Salesforce technology?

Salesforce allows my clients to be in the driver’s seat with their unique business needs steering the project to the optimal solution. The days of technology dictating a solution are over. Just the AppExchange alone provides hundreds of options to expand Salesforce capabilities. Clicks, not code configuration is another game changer. I can build-in more customization for my clients without adding the maintenance burden of custom code. Lastly, I’m a big fan of prototyping solutions and Salesforce makes it easy to build out some basic functionality earlier in a project.

Why do you like working for KELL?

There are many reasons I enjoy working for KELL.  The culture is different than any other I’ve experienced.  From my first day I’ve felt respected and supported by each and every member of the KELL team.  The level of collaboration I experience every day continues to amaze me.  The Salesforce platform is fabulous, but it’s also big, complex and ever-changing.  I can’t imagine one person knowing it all.  There are times I don’t know the answer or haven’t used a feature, but no worries, there is always a KELL colleague willing to help.  The sincerity of wanting to assist others is part of the KELL culture.  It makes KELL a great place to work!
